And Get The Most For Your Advertising Sign up with a gmail account. This is important. Any other email account will probaly bounce. Do not use autoresponders on your email account. This is cause for deletion at every exchange. Be sure to verify your email at each site and the promo codes right away. Most sites delete you after 24 hours and delete the promo codes too! If you don't verify your account and use the promo codes, you have just wasted your time! Put both your first and last names and your payment details on your account as soon as you verify. Do this even if the exchange doesn't pay for referrals! Why, because you want to be paid if they do start to pay and also it is a requirement at most exchanges. Start off on the right foot. When you have your gmail account set- up, use the filters and labels. Set-up your account to filter your emails for the exchanges you belong to. This makes it so much easier when you are trying to click for points. When posting ads do not post the same ad, banner,traffic link , etc. over and over at the same site. You can use the same url repeatedly but you must change the title. For example I have several ads out that go to the same url but each text ad or link is different. Would you click on the same ad over and over? No you wouldn't, but if you make each ad different, you will get several hits for the same page! The same goes for banners. Change your banners. They can have the same url but each banner must be unique. If you just want to add views to your banners, just go to add banner, in the drop down menu, you can click the banner you want to add views to. Joining just a few ad exchanges are not going to get you the exposure you want for your ads. You need to join lots of them! If you plan on joining a few sites, try this. Join 3 or 4 sites. Verify each account and redeem your promo codes. Log in to each site at the same time. Go to post your ads and start posting. Post the same ad on each site. Then go to advertising or edit your details. Post the same info at each site. If you opened all sites at the same time, it is much faster than posting to each one separately. You must be active at each site. That does not mean you have to post to them every week. It does mean you have to post some ads and click on some links. If you have set-up your mailbox right, it is easy to find the ones you need points for to get more ads free. When you start posting your ads, use every ad type that exchange has for the same ad. Use banners, text ads, hotlinks, traffic links, etc. Why?, because you never know which type of ad will get your prospects attention. That's what you want. Some people only click on certain ads, maybe a banner, others may click on just solos. That's why you want to post every kind of ad you can think of. If you post the same solo over and over, it's ok. It has been proven most people need to see the same ad at least 7 times before they will ever click on it! Do not do the same for your text ads at the same site. Post the same ad to several sites to get the most exposure! Make sure you put your name on every email you send. People will start to recognize your name. After awhile it won't matter what you are trying to sell, your name alone will get you traffic! Most exchanges award you with bonus points or solos etc. for clicking 25 ads a day. Check to see how many points you need for each site to post the ads you want. When you are finished posting, you can go back and click links for more points. It doesn't matter if you do this right away or if you do it once a week, just be sure you do it. Each site I go to , I post my ads then check for any special advertising I need. I also check to see how many points I have. I make a list everyday of the sites I posted to and if I need points. Later, I go back and click for points. Sometimes at the site and sometimes from my mailbox, sometimes from both, depending on how many points I get and how many I need. If you have your own website, check your stats every week. You will soon see who sends the most visitors to your site. When selecting a text ad exchange to join, there is no fast rule for what really works. I know alot of people choose sites with large member counts. That might work for some but not always. I belong to several sites with large memberships. But it is so hard to keep enough points in my account for my ads, I rarely use them!!! Their large memberships aren't doing a thing for me! On the other hand I also belong to smaller sites and get some great traffic. That's because the members are active! Another way to find good sites is to check your emails. If you see the same site advertised over and over, that's usually a good site to use. If you join an exchange, try to keep up with how many members they have when you sign-up. If that exchange doesn't grow, you are probaly wasting your time! A really good exchange is always looking for members. That site will grow and give you more exposure for your ads. The smaller sites will not give you very many if any hits on your ads to start with. All exchanges go through this. You should see an increase in your hits as the site grows. Sometimes the site clicks look to be very little but if you look at your website stats you sometimes see they are actually sending more hits than you realize. I belong to a few exchanges that have less-than 50 members but still get alot of hits from them. These sites are very active. So they have a small membership, I still get traffic from them!
